First World War 1914 - 1918
A resource for KS3 using wartime maps, images and documents held at the Northamptonshire Record Office. Students have the opportunity to study extracts from WW1 diaries and letters written by soldiers serving in the war.
Second World War 1939 - 1945
A literacy based resource using wartime maps, images and documents held at the Northamptonshire Record Office. Themes covered include Evacuation, the Blitz, women's war work and the work of the war time censor. Literacy genre covered included instructional writing, persuasive texts, non chronological reports and narrative writing.
